x

Day paddles on the River Rother and on the "Old Military Canal" from Tommy Steele's "Half-a-sixpence" and the River Rother

Also feature on BBC1's Secret Britain http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b076zzqt about 35 minutes in.

Shuttle paddle from Bodiam Castle to Scott’s Float, the tidal limit of the Rother.  A 12 mile paddle, although 9 miles is possible if you start at Newenden.

Sunday paddle the Royal Military Canal from Kenardington to West Hythe. Again, a 12 mile run, but numerous possibilities for a shorter paddle. A later start to give people the opportunity to pack first, as the finish at West Hythe is only 3 miles from junction 11 on the M20.

Water is fairly straightforward so suits most abilities in touring boats.
