As a section of the Camping and Caravanning Club, all our camping events are open to Camping and Caravanning Club members (including Canoe-camping Club members) only. Anyone participating must be a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club before attending a meet.

Please remember to bring your Club membership cards to all club events, since we are required to check and record memberships are current.  We also need to record Paddle UK numbers for those who have them.
Paddlers need to be a member of the Canoe-camping Club and/or one of The UK's paddlesport National Governing Bodies*.  These are needed to ensure that we are covered by the Club's and Paddle UK's insurance.
Canoeing and kayaking are ‘assumed risk’ ‘water contact’ activities, however serious accidents are very rare.
Participants should be aware of and accept these risks, and be responsible for their own action and involvement.
All participants in club trips or meets do so at their own risk, and neither the Club nor its officers can accept any liability for loss or injury of any kind sustained whilst on a Club trip, meet or other activity.

THIS PADDLE IS SUBJECT TO SUFFICIENT NUMBERS. ALSO, THE ORGANISER HAS A SHOULDER INJURY THAT MAY NOT BE HEALED SUFFICIENTLY TO PARTICIPATE AND IN WHICH CASE AN ALTERNATIVE LEADER WILL BE REQUIRED ON THE DAY.

Highwater Saltash 14:42. Meet at slipway (Shore Road, SO31 9FR OS:196/SU48890608 , lat/long: 50.853587,-1.306175 , W3W:plus.campsites.hospitals) by 11:00 hrs, for launch at 11:30hrs, arrive Botley 13:30 – 14:00 hrs depending on stops. Return, leave from Botley by 15:00 hrs latest to arrive Warsash circa 17:00 -17:30 hrs.

As always, please inform the organiser if you are planning to paddle. This trip is subject to weather conditions and may be revised at short notice, any changes will be published here. You should expect strong tidal flow with hazards such as buoys/moored boats/jetties and bridge piers, busy waterways, and the possibility of strong winds on exposed stretches.

You can use Cash, Card or PayByPhone app/website (location code 806315). Expect to be back between 5pm and 6pm latest. Do not use Swanwick or Shore Road carparks as they have a max stay of 4 hrs and no return within 4 hrs.
