To coincide with the British Leisure Show.
Camping alongside the Thames by the main entrance to the Racecourse. The Mill Stream also flows alongside the campsite.
Exhibition tickets valid for one days entrance, include any number of days camping, provided a booking form is returned for the pitch before March 4th.
Circular paddles each day, with the opportunity to also visit the exhibition.
The show organisers said "To reserve your pitch, simply purchase tickets either online or via the ticket hotline (01753 743915) and then email, post or fax back the Booking Form" (available to canoe-camping club members by e-mail from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. - please quote your name C-CC membership number) "and we will ensure that your booking is processed smoothly. To make the show experience even better value for you and your members, I’d like to offer your club members the chance to buy tickets for just £10, which is a 50% reduction on the door ticket price. To take advantage of this, they will simply need to quote the code ‘canoerally’ when buying tickets in advance”
A more-or less circular paddle each day, with the opportunity to also visit the exhibition.
Saturday
BCU Membership card and licence required or Environment Agency Licence
A short, medium or long loop around the racecourse – up the Thames and returning via the Mill Stream.

Medium – 3.5 miles – second portage (about 400 yards around the Mill - wheels advisable for canoes) and then down onto the Thames and straight back to the campsite

Long – 4.6 miles - as Medium, but then looping down towards Windsor Castle, circumnavigating Baths Island and Cuckoo Weir and returning downstream to the campsite.

People could ‘drop out’ of either of the ‘longer’ paddles at the 2.75 mile stage if they want to spend more time in the exhibition

The opportunity to paddlepart of the Jubilee River and the Thames – starting near the Pineapple pub , and ending at Dorney Lake (£2 per head car park charge) – the car shuttle from the Pineapple to the get-out at Dorney Lake is just 2 miles, with a 7.2 mile paddle taking in 3 of the Jubilee weirs (shootable or portage) and 2 locks (Romney and Boveney).
GR of put-in 928794 - layby to the west of the road has no height restriction (spacec for ~6 cars) carpark to the east has height restriction.
Meet at put-in at 10:00 for shuttle (leave racecourse camp-site 9:30)
