Putting up your tent
SO - how will you put it up?
If it's a pop-up tent - easy peasy, but make sure you choose which way the door will face - away from the direction of the prevailing wind, so that if it rains, it doesn't blow into your tent.
Peg it down so it won't fly away in the wind (it's a tent not a kite, right?) and to make sure the outer skin is nice and tight so rain will run off it easily. Make sure the pegs form a 45 degree angle with the ground / 90 degree angel with the guy rope. (I'll add a pic here when I get round to it)
Make sure you know how to take it down and pack it away. Even when it's wet.
