As a section of the Camping and Caravanning Club, all our camping events are open to Camping and Caravanning Club members (including Canoe-camping Club members) only. Anyone participating must be a member of the Camping and Caravanning Club before attending a meet.

Please remember to bring your Club membership cards to all club events, since we are required to check and record memberships are current.  We also need to record BRITISH CANOEING numbers for those who have them. Paddlers need to be a member of the Canoe-camping Club and/or one of Britain's paddlesport National Governing Bodies*.   These are needed to ensure that we are covered by the Club's and British Canoeing's insurance.
Canoeing and kayaking are ‘assumed risk’ ‘water contact’ activities, however serious accidents are very rare.
Participants should be aware of and accept these risks, and be responsible for their own action and involvement.
All participants in club trips or meets do so at their own risk, and neither the Club nor its officers can accept any liability for loss or injury of any kind sustained whilst on a Club trip, meet or other activity.

(1st high 13:59, 2nd high is approx. 2.5 hrs later). Meet at slipway (Shore Road, SO31 9FR OS:196/SU48890608 , lat/long: 50.853587,-1.306175 , W3W:plus.campsites.hospitals) by 10:30 hrs, for launch at 11:00hrs, Botley 13:00 – 13:30 hrs. Return, leave from Botley by 15:00 hrs to arrive Warsash circa 17:00 -17:30 hrs.

As always, please inform the organiser if you are planning to paddle. Unless advised otherwise it is assumed that all paddlers will start from Warsash. This trip is subject to weather conditions and may be revised at short notice, any changes will be published here.

Parking Options - Passage Lane Car Park in Warsash, SO31 9FW OS:196/SU48930623 w3w: roaring.recline.countries. Max daily rate £6, Max stay 12 hrs, open 24 hr per day. PayByPhone users can pay by calling 0330-400-7275 (Location ID 806315). Do not use Swanwick or Shore Road carparks as they have a max stay of 4 hrs, & no return within 4 hrs. For a shorter and more sheltered paddle, there is limited free parking available at Burlesdon Railway Station, SO31 8AA OS:196/SU48970960 , lat/long: 50.88388,-1.305192 , w3w:bunny.dock.define with a short trolley walk to a slipway  (Land’s End Rd, SO31 8DN OS:196/SU49180922 , lat/long: 50.880404,-1.302244, w3w:young.comic.porch) where paddlers launching at Warsash will collect you approx 11:30-11:45.
