Choosing where to pitch your tent

Look for

• * Adequate shelter, but not under trees (e.g. near a hedgerow or raised bank)
• * Suitable ground - level if possible, but not in a dip.  Clear of tree roots and stones
• * Not too close to other campers (at least 6m away)
